I’ve had a look through the recently published games on Gamefroot, and the quality is definitely improving.
I found some pretty cooI games that stood out from the rest, so let’s check them out!
T-Rex Terror
by lilblip
When you’re dealing with T-Rexes you have to shoot first and ask questions later. Especially when they’re shooting rockets at you.
I love the use of custom characters! Although its a pretty short game, the dinosaurs make it a lot of fun to play.

Skeleton Outrun
by bowserflame
This game pulls you in with its epic storyline – while I was playing this game I felt like bowserflame was leaning over my shoulder giving me helpful hints. This is a great example of a funny story story wrapped up in a fun game. Thanks for the trophy, Sargeant Skullybones!

Become a Black-belt Ninja
by millymoo123456123456
Millymoo must have read our article on How to make GOOD games (or Milly could just be a natural game maker). There are plenty of twists and turns in this game, and its maze-like quality makes you want to solve it and get to the end. Fortunately there are plenty of coins around, so when you pick them up you leave a nice empty path which makes it hard to get lost (kind of like Hansel and Gretel’s breadcrumbs).
To earn a black-belt these days you gotta shoot heaps of robots with an AK-47.

Cave Man’s Island Adventure
by B-Dukes
Cave Man’s Island Adventure is a well designed game that uses some nice custom tiles to stand out from the other games. You are a caveman on a mission to defend your island from invaders, and find hidden areas filled with treasure. This game starts you off with easy jumps between platforms and easy enemies to kill, but it gets a lot harder as you get closer to the end. You have to be pretty strategic if you want to win, and the challenges make you determined to beat the game.

Pong
by Dave
The classic arcade game Pong has been re-created using Gamefroot! You control both paddles with the left and right arrow keys, and the directions are reversed for the opposite side – it can get pretty tricky once the ball speeds up.
This shows off the kind of interesting things that can be done with items with advanced behaviors in Gamefroot. A tutorial on how this game was made will be coming soon!

A big shout out to all you game makers out there, you guys rock! Keep making awesome games – we are glad you are a part of the Gamefroot community.
Skullybones will be returning in Skeleton Outrun 2!
Which I’m working on now!
Nice! Sounds good! 🙂
Why does every game I make get deleted?
Hi Bubbledome2, sorry that your games are getting deleted! I’ve never heard of that happening before. Can you try asking for help at:
Gamefroot.zendesk.com
We can ask you more questions there to figure out what’s going wrong, and hopefully get this problem sorted out for you. In the mean time, maybe you could create a new account and see if making games works there?
Superior thinking dersaotmnted above. Thanks!
